Fees and Funding
Parayhouse School’s Fees for 2017-2018 academic year are £28,370 pa / £9,457 per term.
Where there is Education Funding Agency provision (EFA) in place then the fee is reduced by £10,000 to £18,370 pa /£6,123 per term.
This fee is fully inclusive of all Speech & Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy and ensures the financial security of the charity whilst providing the best possible provision for children with the most complex needs. The EFSA brings together the former responsibilities of The Education Funding Agency amd the Skills Funding Agency.
Within the NMSS/Independent SEN provision of Greater London we are still the best value for money, with no additional costs for therapeutic intervention.

PARAYHOUSE SCHOOL CHARGING POLICY STATEMENT
Any charges made by the school must meet the requirements of the Education Act 1996 and The Education Regulations 1999. The School endorses the guiding principles contained in the act, in particular that no child should have his or her access to the curriculum limited by charges.
Aims: To make a broad programme of trips and activities accessible to as many students as possible to establish and maintain a fair and coherent system of charges within the constraints of the school budget
Practice:: Charges will not be made for any activities that are a requirement of the National Curriculum. Voluntary contributions may be invited for other trips. No student may be excluded because of inability to pay. The school is entitled to cancel the trip if the level of contributions does not meet its budgetary requirements. Since September 2014 the cost of residential trips has been met in part by the term fee and a substantial payment form Pupil Premium [circa £12,000 pa], The residential experience is considered an important element of the life skills programme for all students. Therefore no student is excluded from attending a residential trip each year. Photocopied notes, text books, iPads, exercise books and paper will be provided for all students and, although all students are encouraged to have a fully stocked pencil case with them at all times, there will always be pens, pencils and coloured pencils available in every teaching area.
The cost of examination entries for subjects taught within the school will be met by the school.
