Sports Day

Yesterday was sports day! Thankfully the weather was kind and we had no rain!

Everyone participated well, here are a few reports and photos of the day.

On Thursday 29th June we held our annual sports day at Barn Elms, students participated in a variety of sports including javelin, long jump and sprint races. It was lovely to see so many family members joining in throughout the day and we were very lucky that the weather was on our side. We are already looking forward to next year!

Thank you to all staff that made it such a fantastic day,

Daniel Cayford.

I was having fun at sports day yesterday. I came second in the race. Mr Cayford came first in a race as well. I had a great time with the teachers and my friends. I was cheering for my team all day.

Residential Camps

On Monday we will be waving off Saturn, Jupiter and Mars as they leave for their residential camps. I am sure parents will receive full reports about the camps on their return.

Website

Our new website is now live!

www.parayhouse.com

Here is a comment from Alex Patrick [Mother of Edie] regarding the new website.

I just wanted to let you know we've watched the 'day in the life of the school' video about 10 times. It's such a positive, powerful message about our school and what a fantastic time the children have here. I cried at the end too!

Well done, Alex

Transition Day

Monday 17th July 2017

We will be welcoming all the new students who will be starting in September to join us for the day so they can meet all their new classmates and staff.

Current students will also have the chance to visit their new classes if they are moving up!

STAFF CHANGES

We will be saying good bye to Lizzie Reid [SLT Jupiter] at the end of term, Lizzie is moving on to pastures new!

We will also be saying Au revoir to Amber Hawkins [SLT] who starts her maternity leave in preparation for the birth of her second child in August.

We wish them both GOOD LUCK!

LUNCHES

Next week we will be on Week 2 of the College menu.

The College canteen closes next Friday 7th July but fear not the wonderful chefs at Parayhouse will be providing lunches until the end of term!

ASSEMBLIES

There are no more themed assemblies this term, due to Annual Reviews and camps.
