‘Parayhouse has talent’

Today we celebrated Parayhouse has talent - full report next week.

VISIT TO QE2 SCHOOL

Yesterday some students from Pluto and Saturn visited QE2 School to see an interactive performance by staff including our very own Music teacher Gabriel (The Maestro) in The Heroes Journey.

They all really engaged with the sensory experience and enjoyed themselves thoroughly helping Poseidon, Spiderwoman & Batman overcome perils and pitfalls and became heroes themselves.

Here is Anna-Kay gathering fish to keep Poseidon happy!

PHOTO CONSENT

General Data Protection Regulations [GDPR]

We have now received all parent’s forms regarding photo consent.  Many of you chose not to have your child’s photo on the website, this means that the newsletter may not have as many photos as normal because our newsletter is published on the Parayhouse website.

We will also be writing to you again regarding internal displays, many of you withheld consent to this which makes classroom/school displays very difficult for staff.

STUDENT VOICE

On Thursday Mrs. Jackson, Mrs. Sullivan and

Mrs. Carnevale met with the Head boy –Selasie and Head girl – Helen.  They had produced a power point presentation on issues that students have raised regarding school lunches.

All three staff were very impressed with the presentation and hope to share the presentation with the Catering Manager.  One item has already been dealt with- Pluto, Neptune and Saturn want regular pizzas!!
