TATE MODERN TRIPS
Miss Codd writes…
On Monday 22 January, Jupiter visited Tate Modern to explore many different artworks in the Objects and Materials galleries. Lucky for us, as well as drawing and looking at artworks, we also got to have fun with One Two Three Swing! by the Danish collective, SUPERFLEX. Saturn are visiting the gallery next Monday and Neptune will be there on Tuesday 20 February. When we got back from the gallery, Damarni said that it was fun and Elsharief said, "The Tate Gallery - it is very interesting". Our visits are part of our current project to make work as part of A New Direction's SEND network. We will be making work to show at Tate Gallery in the Tate Exchange space from 13 - 17 March. This will be our second show at the Tate!!
2 HOURS FREE TENNIS SESSION
Please see the following invitation to get involved in the Tennis Marathon…
Hi,
I wanted to let you know about the very exciting 24 hour tennis marathon taking place on the 17th and 18th of February at the National Tennis Centre.
Don’t worry you don’t have to play for 24Hours!!! We are looking to pull a Fulham FC Foundation team together to take part in a 2 hour slot playing against Commonwealth Gold medalist, Jocelyn Rae and Danny Sapsford. This will be a great opportunity to do a little more fundraising for the Foundation and our disability provision.
For more details, please follow the link-http://www.brightideasfortennis.org/events.php
If you would like to get involved please don’t hesitate in contacting me.
Kind Regards
Hugh
