WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

Issue 13 – 8th December 2017

School news

We are rehearsing like mad for the show on Tuesday and tickets have now been sent home.

Please do not come without your tickets as the security guards from the college will be on duty and they will not let anyone in without a ticket – you have been warned!

Please also remember that the theatre entrance is in Lily Close. This is a narrow passage way, just past the college carpark, in Gliddon Road.  We hope to have a signpost on display, but failing this, look out for the sign to St. Paul’s Court.

I am very sad to announce that Ms. Julia Peters [SLT in Saturn] is leaving us at the end of this term. Ms. Peters has decided to return home to the warmth of Australia.   We wish her the best of luck for the future.

We have this week appointed two new speech and language therapists, who will be joining Parayhouse in the New Year.

A letter went home on Thursday changing the arrangements for our Christmas Party, on the 14th December. This will now take place in school, so that all Parayhouse Students can attend.

Also, school will now finish on Wednesday 20th December at 2.30pm

FUNDRAISING

As part of our fundraising this Christmas, the staff would like to collect food for the Shelter and the local food bank.

If you would like to donate any dry goods, tins etc. please send them into school.

We have also been supporting a homeless

ex-service man who lives in a cardboard box outside Barons Court Station.

RAFFLE

Thank you to the families who have sent in donations for the Raffle. The raffle is one of our annual fundraising events and money raised goes to help pay for Residential Camp and outings that the Students undertake during the year.

Please send in your donations as soon as possible, if you can contribute. We are happy to receive unwanted gifts, items for a Christmas hamper, bottles of wine, chocolates etc.

Lunches

Week beginning 11th December 2017, we will be on week

2 of the lunch menu.   Lunches cost £3.15per day, this can be paid daily, weekly or termly.  If you wish to pay by online banking please call and we will let you have our banking details.
