School news

Staff

We are very sorry to announce that Leastra Charles [LSA Neptune] will be leaving us at half term after almost 5 years at Parayhouse.  Leastra is moving to sunny Spain!

However, we are happy to announce that we have a new LSA – Daniel Lewis. Daniel is starting on Monday, this will give him time for a good handover with Leastra.

We wish Leastra every success and happiness for the future.

Many of you are aware that Mrs. Routley has not been in school for the last couple of weeks. She will be returning on the 16th October, so please feel free to call the school office if you have any problems that we can help with.

NEW HOME ?

Hi all, I'm moving to sunnier shores so need a loving and caring family to re-home my healthy and friendly rabbit, Fluffy who loves cuddles, being stroked and children.
She's a 7 year old Dutch rabbit with all the up to date vaccinations.
She's a free, indoor rabbit who has never been caged/locked up, so loves to wander (within the boundaries).  She also safely plays out in the garden but has an indoor cage to eat and do her waste in.
Any interest, then please contact me on l.charles@parayhouse.com. Thanks

Leasta

Certificate of appreciation

We were delighted to receive, in the post yesterday, a certificate of appreciation awarded to us by the charity ‘Children with Cancer’. This is a charity that we have supported for many years and we were surprised to see that we had raised over £1,200 for this worthy charity.

The certificate will now be displayed in the foyer, along with our other achievements.

Saturn and Neptune visit the Palace, Miss Codd Reports…

This year our school production is Beauty and the Beast and in Art we are making props for the production. The Beast lived in a palace, so we thought it would be great for students to experience being in a palace. Saturn and Neptune visited Kensington Palace and saw the Kings Rooms this week. There were huge portraits framed in gold, richly patterned ceilings, dancing shadows and an amazing red dress embroidered with gold thread. During the visit, everyone talked about what they could see, made drawings and played matching games in the Drawing Room. We had a great time!
