School news

Multi-Sensory Room

It is now installed and in full working order.  We thank all the families that donated to the fund enabling us to have this amazing facility.

Residential Camps

On Monday we waved off Saturn, Jupiter and Mars to their respective camps.  Reports have been very positive. School has been so quiet this week!

Jupiter and Mars visited Woburn Abbey Safari Park on Tuesday. As this picture shows, the mini bus had an extra visitor!

Next week Pluto and Neptune will be off and for some of these students, it will be the first time they have been away from their families. We thank you for your trust.

Transition Day

Monday 17th July 2017

We will be welcoming all of the new students who will be starting in September, to join us for the day so they can meet all their new classmates and staff.

Current students will also have the chance to visit their new classes, if they are moving up!

A letter informing parents will be sent out prior to the transition day.

STAFF CHANGES

We will be saying goodbye to Lizzie Reid [SLT Jupiter] at the end of term, Lizzie is moving on to pastures new!

We will also be saying Au revoir to Amber Hawkins [SLT] who starts her maternity leave in preparation for the birth of her second child in August.

We wish them both GOOD LUCK!

LUNCHES

Next week we will be on Week 3 of the College menu.

The College canteen has now decided to stay open for a few extra days, so will now close on Thursday 13th July.

As of Friday 14th the Parayhouse Chef’s will take over!

Next week Saturn, Jupiter and Mars will use the canteen for lunch.

Speaking of the canteen….

Last Friday Pluto went to the canteen for a full English breakfast!

Mr.Croyle writes….

Pluto had a special treat last Friday, having a cooked Breakfast up in the canteen.  The students were superb, using their manners to order, eating without making a mess and cleaning up after themselves.  They even made a card later in the day to thank the staff upstairs, which was greatly appreciated by them.

ASSEMBLIES

There are no more themed assemblies this term, due to Annual Reviews and camps.
